PlanDelta needed to enhance their platform’s user experience and sought our expertise to modernize its interface. Our main task was transforming PlanDelta’s platform into a more user-friendly and flexible tool. Key objectives included:

The Process
To achieve a successful redesign, we followed a structured process that included discovery, design, and delivery phases. Each phase was critical to understanding the needs of PlanDelta’s users, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring seamless implementation.
Discovery
- Research: Conducted extensive research to understand user needs and pain points.

Design

Delivery
- Q&A (Review Sessions): Held collaborative discussion sessions with the PlanDelta team to ensure clarity and alignment with development requirements. This collaborative approach allowed us to refine the design to meet all technical and practical needs effectively. We made sure the design aligned well with required behavior and innovative ideas.
Design System
To ensure consistency, scalability, and a seamless user experience, we developed a comprehensive design system. Typography
Selected a versatile font family optimized for readability and consistency across various devices. This choice enhances user experience by ensuring text is easily legible, helping users quickly find and understand information.
Color Palette
Utilized a light background with grey and blue text for optimal contrast and orange accents for key elements. This approach ensures visual appeal, aligns with the brand, and improves content scanability.
Icons
Introduced a set of simple, minimalistic icons to enhance visual design without overwhelming users. These icons help in quickly conveying information and actions, adding to the overall user experience.
Layout Grids
Designed organized layout grids to facilitate easy navigation, maintain uniformity, and ensure a responsive design across all devices. This structured approach helps in creating a balanced and aesthetically pleasing interface.
Components
Created various components such as buttons, input fields, and labels, all adhering to Material Design guidelines for consistency and usability. These components are designed to be reusable, ensuring a cohesive look and feel throughout the platform.
Tables
Designed detailed and user-friendly tables as a key component of the platform. By breaking tables into cells and rows and creating various states and variants, we ensured that users could interact with large amounts of data effectively and intuitively.
Results
Designing PlanDelta’s new platform presented several challenges, particularly with over 30 screens filled with substantial content and data. Our objective was to create a design that is visually appealing, easy to navigate, interactive, and engaging while maintaining a professional tone. Our role focused on UX/UI design, prototyping, and developing the design system. The implementation of the design was carried out by the PlanDelta team.
